announces an Official Fractal Art Contest, as a tribute to our beloved Benoit Mandelbrot, father of fractal geometry, who passed away last month.
We all owe to Benoit, and we all should take part at this contest as a tribute to his genius and memory.

Miscats Alert!
Hi fellow gnarlists! :wave:
I've been busy in the last weeks, but I'm back now and I noticed that several miscats have been submitted to the group.
So please, read carefully and follow the first rule of #Gnarlissimo (https://www.deviantart.com/gnarlissimo):
ONLY GNARLS ARE ALLOWED.
No other fractals.
No photos.
No drawings.
No digital works, except for manipulated gnarls.
For now, I'm still leaving the submissions "auto".
But this has not to become a way to submit *everything* to the group.
Don't force me to turn the "submission review" on. ;)

New rules for the 'Featured' folder
Hi all! :wave:
Because I want all of you, mah beloved members, have at least one gnarlie in the Featured folder (that is the only one displayed on our main page), I set this new rule for the group:
- Any member can submit his/her best gnarl to the Featured folder, but just ONCE A MONTH.
I'm not sure now if I'm gonna delete all the featured gnarlies I put in that folder to create a brand new one, I will see how it goes with the new rule first. ;)
Now, go submit... and choose your best! :dance:
